Introduction :
Fights are inevitable. Sometimes you fight the most with someone with whom you are the closest with, mostly because you know each other the best which is why you know exactly what would irk the other person.
But this is not necessarily a bad thing because once both the parties involved have cooled down, the best talks happen. Once the anger simmers, the vulnerability comes out and you end up becoming closer to one another afterwards. These lyrics are about one such instance.
“Best Talks”
(Verse-1)
Heat of the moment getting to both our heads
We both are stubborn
I won’t back off; I said what I said
You also follow the same pattern
(Pre-chorus)
When fire meets fire, it’ll burn everything
When anger meets anger, it’ll ruin everything
(Chorus)
But I know, as well you do
When the night comes, I’ll talk to you,
I’ll say sorry, then you’ll say sorry
Cuz we can’t see each other suffer
Cuz we both love each other
And the best talks come after fights
(Verse-2)
Unlike views always create such a space overnight
That it is too big to just pass
You won’t back down cuz you have a huge ego
It’ll be the same as the past
(Pre-chorus)
When fire meets fire, it’ll burn everything
When anger meets anger, it’ll ruin everything
(Chorus)
But I know, as well you do
When the night comes, I’ll talk to you,
I’ll say sorry, then you’ll say sorry
Cuz we can’t see each other suffer
Cuz we both love each other
And the best talks come after fights
(Bridge)
Maybe according to you
I was in the wrong.
Maybe from where I stand
You started that wrong.
This cycle of blame
Will go on, will go on
Till we forget our names.
But when the sun sinks, so does our anger
Cuz when the moon comes, so does our regret.
And we talk for hours
Till our throats hurt.
(Exit)
Cuz I know, as well you do
When the night comes, You’ll talk to me,
And we’ll say sorry
Cuz we can’t see each other suffer
Cuz we both love each other
Cuz with every flare of anger
With every fight
Our bonds become tight
Because the best talks come after a fight.
