Introduction :

Has the person you thought was the closest to you ever breached your trust?

Has anyone every hurt you when you thought they were your protectors?

Has a friend taken the side of a foe instead of you?

If yes, then they are betrayers. This poem is about those kinds of people.

“Betrayers”

Backstabbing,
Friend-stealing,
Problem-makers,
Are betrayers.

They told you that they’re on your side;
But to you they lied
You tried and cried and tried
To make them see sense; but now you’re tired.

So you forget them;
Obviously not your revenge
Your absolute master plan for avenge,
Cuz you gotta give them a pierce of your mind;
But also the give them the apt direction to find,
With ropes of guilt you bind
Them so that you can correct their mind.

And then forgive,
Forget and let them them live;
But never go back
Or who knows they might repeat and backstab.
