Introduction :

The earth is full of exotic creatures, enthralling waterfalls, fascinating forests and sky-high mountains.

But the most gorgeous sight that Mother Earth gifts us every day is often overlooked by us- the bewitching blend of colors and sounds that makes a sun rise.

Only a handful (if any at all) enjoy this magnificent scene of the warm sun rising with all its glory in the morning sky.

 

“Good morning!”

First the sky changes colour-
From a pretty persian blue
To a much lighter hue
And then to a one even paler.

As we are snoring
The birds chirp out loud
To say good morning
And the sun begins to creep out.
As our eyelids flutter open
So do the rays of the sun
And the moon sinks downwards.

And because we are still yawning
We miss this beautiful sight
Of the sun gaining height
And a bright, hopeful light.

Chirping still comes from every bird
But by many ears it’s not really heard
And colorful flowers majestically open their petals
Just as people get up and rub their eyes and temples.

Finally the sun in the sky is fully up,
And young kids wake up to have fun
While the elders clutter their butter knives
And then carry on with their ‘busy’ lives.
This happens to happen every morning
But only a few get up and stop snoring
To see the sun rising
And listen to every part of nature saying
“GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING!!!”
